This 2.17 ct sapphire displays the best color to be found in Montana and maybe to be found anywhere. Daylight color is a fine medium Ceylon looking blue, and in artificial light the color shifts to a darker and richer Kashmir looking blue. Adding to the rarity of this stone is the clarity which could be described as virtually flawless. The stone has been cut into a new custom oval shape that is livelier and more brilliant than the traditional faceted oval. The quality of cut conforms to the All American Sapphire standard.
